Please remember that the Covid19 public health emergency is rapidly changing, and our ability to remain open may change without notice; or we may be ordered closed in the upcoming weeks by BC’s provincial health officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry,  and/or our licensing officer.

Dr. Henry maintains that childcare centres can safely care for children if they are following the prescribed health protocols.  

We do not recommend that children with any underlying health concerns attend childcare programs during the Covid19 pandemic.

Note that children/staff who have had a negative Covid test can return to the centre once they are symptom free for 24 hours without the aide of medication. All children and staff who have been in direct contact with a person with Covid 19 must self isolate for 14 days. All positive cases, or
contact with positive cases, must be reported to management who will then report it to the appropriate local health authority and follow the direction given to us. (This could include a full centre closure)
